Background
A What Should I do? question was asked and I voted to close it. Then the following happened:
A user wrote an answer
The same user cast the last VTC
The answer received a DV and the user deleted it...
@Mithrandir it was in the wrong place, and more difficult to search through and delete the edit + find and add a similar comment than just add the similar comment
i rejected out of laziness, the idea was right - so I still edited it in.. but the wording and placing was all wrong so if I was going to go and delete every bit of it anyway... Is there something wrong with rejecting and editing?
@JesseBarnett if it's done too many times the person suggesting can get automatically banned from suggesting edits.
It will also show up permanently that I suggested a rejected edit which can effect how much people trust my edits in the future.
All rejected edits start to count against the person suggesting. If the number reaches a certain level, boom - can't suggest any more edits for a while.
So if the basic foundation of the edit is correct...
@Mithrandir ahh, sorry about that. However I am still not sure if I should have rejected it or accepted and then deleted... I don't mean to count towards any bad counter but whichever is the correct way to handle an edit that has the right idea, only wrong contents is how I should have done it

@D.Hutchinson I feel hunger is like an illness which requires cure the most urgently. Even I don't particularly want to eat specific food and can't think of any delicious food, I just need to suff any food available into my stomach to cure hunger.

@Sid I gotcha, in a pinch. My question, if you don't mind, is could you have a partner whose eating habits were not in line with yours? I would think as a vegan I would not want my partner to be a meat eater.
@IamSoNotListening (of course, I don't mind) I wouldn't have much of a problem with that as long as my partner is not forcing me to eat meat and vice versa. The reasons why people are vegan are very much varied. So, it wouldn't bother me if they don't have the same opinions as me on that.
