@Sp3000 Another round ?
I might give it a break, got stuff to do (guess we can just leave this room alone or something)
I can try to guess
user288204
@Sp3000 Why leave this room alone ? Use it :P
Well if anyone else wants to play then go for it
user288204
@JanDvorak This time, I guess.

(e.g. Jan)
user288204
@JanDvorak Please make the rule short and simple, so for small number you don't need a calculator, and defined for positive integers.
user288204
@Sp3000 Ping me later when you have time to play.
user288204
@JanDvorak Ready ?
user288204

Just to be sure - I can guess the rule without typing any negative number ?

user288204
@manshu Will you play ? It's fun.
user288204
@GarethMcCaughan Will you play ? It's fun.
Did you guess because of my slight delay on the last one?
user288204
Yeah, and a couple of other reasons.
user288204
12:05
I made the same mistake with Sp.
@ConorO'Brien I strongly approve of induction games like this one but playing them well requires more concentrated attention than I'm able to provide right now :-).
I guess I should always code my condition in Ruby and pass every query through it
user288204
@GarethMcCaughan Can you nest it under PSE ? Sp wrongly created it under PPCG, because it's his main site ?
I want to but this internet...arrrgggghhh
user288204
in Codenames, 13 mins ago, by Sp3000
Uh dunno, I think it just created based on my profile site (which is PPCG)
12:07
@ConorO'Brien I have no idea whether I can. Let me see.
f = -> *n {n.any? &:prime?}
user288204
@GarethMcCaughan You can just create a new room at PSE, move the messages and delete this room. Can't you ?
I could probably do that (not certain whether I can move messages to a room on a different SE site). I think someone who's a moderator on PPCG and has an account on Puzzling should be able to rehost the room, which feels like a better solution.

Q: Moving a Chatrooom to another site

user193319I am not exactly sure where I should be posing this question, but I suppose I'll try here. I created a chatroom, called "Russell's On Denoting," which I intended for the philosophy stackexchange. But for some strange reason it created it in the math stackexchange chatroom. Is there is way of movi...

user288204
Okay, so I'm pinging dennis.
user288204
Dennis is not here...but you an do that, Gareth.
12:10
I really don't think I can. I'm a mod on Puzzling but not on PPCG.
or do you mean I can contact the PPCG mods?
user288204
Yeah, the last one.
hang on, let me see what I can do.
12:24
Well, Dennis is notionally around in the Super Sekrit Moderators' Place (and is a PPCG mod and a Puzzling user) but isn't responding so I guess he's otherwise occupied. Recreate and move messages might be the easier option. In that case I think the new chat room might need to have a different name.
(Personally I'd be untroubled by that; I bet we can find a name more informative than "Veritasium simulator"...)
If we do need to change the name (or even if we don't) should we consider broadening the remit to other induction games? Though I'm not sure what others would play well in chat. Eleusis and Zendo are the most famous ones and both would be a bit difficult here.
(I'd recommend changing the name, I just picked whatever because I was expecting this to be temporary)
@Sp3000 OK, let's do the new-room-and-move-messages thing. What name shall we give it?
If it's going to be specifically for the game that was just played twice, maybe something very specific like "Three Positive Integers"??
Or if broader, "Inductive Games" or "Induction Games" or something?
Number Ruler?
I suspect that if it doesn't just quickly peter out, it's likely to find itself used for word-based induction games (kinda along the likes of the "What is a X Word?" puzzles there used to be an enormous number of).
(As well as the numeric sort, I mean.)
@ConorO'Brien Any opinions on naming?
12:42
@GarethMcCaughan refresh the page
@manshu Oh. Hmm.
