lol jhonbillion wants to help gutenberg development to be managed as a proper software project github.com/WordPress/gutenberg/issues/6228, but he can not participate too much due to him needing to treat the current barely beta version as a final one for a client.
 
again, you have weird ideas about what you consider beta to mean
 
He thought that the irony is that he can not have the time to help, while the true irony is that he forces gutenberg into backward compatibility mode while no one claims it is ready
If gutenberg can be used in human made (?) big projects than it is ready for merge

OS projects are never complete, it's one of their defining features

no software is ever complete, it is a specific development phase that it is supposed to be completed to spec. Even agile development practice which I personally despise uses sprints with defined goal before starting the sprint, and not as an afterthought
