Hey, firstly, thanks
I hate people when they go and blame stuff on me rather than themselves. If I have been hurt by a word, then I have been hurt by a word. Simple as that.
SImply saying "it's not pejorative in my country" shouldn't be an excuse in a multicultural community.
I thank you for trying to defend me and for putting my views to another perspective, with a... louder voice. I'm usually a silent, introvert person myself, so I can't say how much that helps.

Thanks for not making me feel alone in such a moment. You don't have to keep fighting with them, they (or rather, one person, I think) have been given multiple arguments and counter-arguments and still don't understand.
