@Willeke I can't post on the Meta for Travel SE because "You must have at least 5 reputation on Travel Stack Exchange to ask a question" so I hope it's okay to write here, instead? I am having an network-wide issue with my account (which, according to comments from other users, might take a while to get sorted out) but I was wondering if site moderators can reinstate/undelete my questions and lift the question ban for their individual site? Context: meta.stackexchange.com/questions/406719
Thank you very much. I'd appreciate it if you could take a look. Also, here's the link again, this time hopefully clickable meta.stackexchange.com/questions/406719/…
13:39
Yeah look like @Canned isn't a spammer, so a site mod on Travel.SE can at least lift the suspension manually.
Anyway only staff can lift the suspensions network wide, or restore the deleted accounts.
@CannedMeatLover can you please give me a link to a question or answer, even if deleted? I can not clean up false spam votes if the account has no content to find votes on
@ShadowWizard, if you know which question was reported I might be able to help.
Thanks for taking a look! :) So you can't see any deleted previous posts associated with this account anymore, either? Or did it automatically create a completely new account for me? In either case, here is a previous post: travel.stackexchange.com/questions/179760/…
@CannedMeatLover this account is new, that's why it got auto suspension of one year when it was created.
Your original account was Destroyed.
I had a look, I can not do anything I can see. Please use the contact option at the bottom of the question and answer pages and ask there, that way it comes to staff.
@Willeke can't you lift the auto suspension of this account?
13:49
I see :( So let's see if I got this right: I'll have to wait until staff has a look at my network-wide issue. And then they will be able to merge my original, hopefully restored account, with this new account. However, in the meantime, would it be able to lift the question ban on this new account? So I can post again?
I was a few seconds too late :)
Oddly enough, the chat profile is still linked to the original, now deleted, account.
@Willeke Yes, I've already contacted staff about the issue. See linked post on meta SE meta.stackexchange.com/questions/406719/… But apparently it will take some time, so I was wondering if, in the meantime, you would be able to enable me to at least post new questions, so I can keep using travel SE :)
(so that's why you can chat at all, @Canned)
@ShadowWizard Yeah it's weird. Also, not all my question on all sites have been deleted. For example, this one is still here too: aviation.stackexchange.com/questions/99378/…
@Willeke I don't know what got reported, but it's not about single spam post, it happened because a moderator Destroyed the account as being a spammer, deleting all the posts as well. (All I've seen were legit with legit answers, and are now deleted.)
Anyway, if there's more to it and only staff can/should handle, it's fair.
13:54
As this is a network wide ban I can not do anything, sorry. I also did not see any deleted post that warranted a flag bad enough for a ban.
@CannedMeatLover so it means your account was destroyed only on several sites, since you Hide them I can't really see your profile on other sites.
@Willeke where do you see it's network wide ban?
The message for network wide suspension is different, and not the case here.
@Willeke I understand. Very curious, so it's a network-wide ban, but not really: I cannot post on travel SE, but I can post on aviation SE for example.
@ShadowWizard You cannot see my profile via the link I sent to my post on aviation SE? Or you're saying further profiles on further sites?
Maybe I saw it wrong but I see no option to change it.
I'll ping my fellow mods here
No worries :) It's okay, I guess I'll just have to wait a bit until staff can take a look
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your help
@JoErNanO, @RoryAlsop, @JonathanReez can one of you have a look please?
No problem, I am just not the best in this kind of cases.
14:49
@Willeke I see no reason why the suspension here can't be lifted. It's per-site automatic suspension.
@CannedMeatLover yes, it seems fine. So you have only one account deleted, here on Travel?
15:42
@Willeke - like you I cannot see any way to reverse the suspension. I also do not have any information as to the history etc.
16:40
@ShadowWizard It seems "destroyed", not "deleted", correct? And unfortunately, I'm not sure if it's only the Travel SE account or if other accounts are affected, too, because I don't know how to find out previous posts? Yesterday, I was sure I saw "suspended" on other pages, too, but now I struggle to find them again. On my network profile, I can only see reputation of 1 for most of them, so that doesn't help.
I was able to find out my previous profile on Travel SE via the archived page of one of my questions.
The original profile is unavailable but shows a different id in the URL than my current, suspended profile so I assume the previous one has been "destroyed" and when I tried to log in yesterday, a new one was automatically created and immediately banned/suspended.
@RoryAlsop Thank you. So my Travel SE account, specifically, was suspended (because accounts on other SE sites work) yet Travel SE mods cannot lift the suspension. A little unexpected, but looks like we just have to wait what staff says, then. Thanks again for trying.

2 hours later…
19:08
@RoryAlsop perhaps because it's automatic, yeah.
19:27
@RoryAlsop and @Willeke what about the questions that got deleted along with the account? Can you see them and undelete? I found three which are totally fine and with upvoted answers: one, two, three
If you can undelete it would also be great, as I can't see any reason to leave them deleted.
Anyway, I'm pinging staff about it in chat, might make things move faster. But can't be sure.
Done!
in Slate's stash on Meta Stack Exchange Chat, 1 min ago, by Shadow Wizard
@Slate I'm using my "monthly token" to ask if you can take a quick look on this, and by this saving lots of time and frustration to what appears to be innocent user who fell victim to mod innocent mistake?
20:29
@ShadowWizard, I was able to undelete the questions.
20:54
@Willeke thanks! Hopefully Slate will be able to merge the accounts somehow.
