The problem with moderators on a travel site is that the mods also travel, and can be out of reach for weeks. More mods might help.

I see you point about merging and renaming. At the moment I spend all my time on Travel SE with clearing flags and there is not time left for answering questions and only occasionally for merging and renaming tags. We hope with an additional mod, each of us has more time on other stuff than the flags. COncerning the bugs, there is not really a lot we can do about.

Progress! Even I was able to edit [svv] (a stop-gap measure) to [standard-visitor-visas] - though BEWARE I was offered the choice of [standard-visitor-visa] as well.
