Many thanks for "primping" 'PLAB2'. I like the way a little more - and a little more + more or less balance out!
Are you in touch with Nean Der Thal? Might he substitute? At the time of your last Comment above JoErNanO had just visited and he's been back since so maybe do not give up on him just yet :)

@GayotFow at this point it'd been better if you've written an answer and I would've deleted mine. It just seemed everyone is comemnting and noone is answering so I made a quick community wiki

Would you add something to support the address for the first night's stay to 'VWP documentation'?

Q: My old passport expired and was unused. As an Indian citizen, would I need it while applying for a visa to Japan in Taiwan?

Abhishek NandaI am an Indian citizen. My old passport was valid till about 10 years back. I never used it for any travel or document proofs at all. My current passport is valid till another 3 years with two visits to the US and two to Singapore. I live in Taiwan and have been working here for about a year now....

we have 20+ questions on travel after changing your passport
how about a change-of-document tag?
not sure what a good name would be

@chx you were quick to wiki it. Take some rep from it next time because the OP was a drive-by :(

@JonathanReez My preference would be to 'tidy' what we have before adding too may more but (a) that is not happening (b) [passports] could well be a candidate for subdivision (667 Open Qs at present*) (c) 20+ is more than enough judging by so many with only 1 or 2 Q. But (d) what to name it and (e) will it have its own followers/experts.

How about just [passport-renewals]?

If the UK leaves the EU customs union, I wonder how many EU airports would lose direct flights to the UK for lack of customs facilities.

interesting but true observation
I wonder though, are there many?
Rotterdam for example serves Turkish and African destinations so it must have ... and that's the only one really that jumps to mind as a possibility

I'm not sure how to find out if an airport has customs facilities, apart from situations where I know.

I presume if they have out-of-EU flights they must have customs.
Indeed La Palma Airport doesn't have one and has London and Manchester flights
good find
There must be extremely few of these, me thinks
Luleå Airport has no customs facilities, scheduled flights are domestic only but there are occasional charter flights to Turkey. I expect that may be true for some other airports as well (Groningen perhaps?). See my question. Not specific to UK exit although it could provide an idea.
Perhaps they have customs facilities for rare use but they are hidden from sight. Such that outside-EU-customs-union arrivals would not get their luggage on the regular luggage belts, but in a special zone that travellers never see otherwise.

I asked yet another question: travel.stackexchange.com/q/86281/2509

I have flown to and from Bristol (AMS BRS and VV) and I bet that locals who use the airport just to fly to Scotland would be surprized to find that there is passport control.
I have never been on any of the smaller NL airports. So no help here.
