@Willeke Now I understand, I have to try this immediately!

Identifying places sure gets a lot of upvotes...

That guy is just starting out and needs some help from the community not to just cut-and-paste.

@CMaster The "needle" is an HNQ.
57 questions unanswered, three bounties - can we get some more? Or failing that, take a look at the active bounties and see if you have an answer ;)
A lot of the 57 have Comments (asking for clarification) that have not been answered. IMO many s/b Closed as unclear.

@pnuts indeed, if the person hasn't come back, or more inmportantly HAS come back and hasn't responded, then vote to close as unclear.
we're getting there!
I do think we are!

@pnuts my most upvotes ever is also an "indentify this" answer though
and this one is well on the way to joining it
Maybe "Vernazza" was also an HNQ in its day? But images (specially attractive ones) clearly impact votes. Even As with boring ones (like a bus timetable?) seem likely to attract more +1s than exactly the same text to exactly the same Q would without :)

Hey, guys, can someone check why the link to the photo do not work, here? travel.stackexchange.com/questions/82687/…
(please)
Flickr does not see to have a photograph referenced as ALiGvY.
ok, thx
I end up uploading it. I hate this, I prefer having my photos all in the same place
Just seen your comment. I'm an idiot :-S

Q: Are there automatic boarding pass gates at Malpensa airport's Terminal 1?

CrazydreI'm going to accompany a friend in March from Linate to Malpensa airport, and wonder if terminal 1 at Malpensa has automatic boarding pass gates? If it does, I can sneak up behind him and will accompany him airside while he's waiting for the connecting flight. NB: this is not a question about th...

Crazydre's username seems accurate here
I had thought that :)
But with nuts in mine had not dared say so.

@pnuts wtf? You deleted your answer. What in heaven's name for?
There were two effectively identical, bar co-ordinates that I have (after slight adjustment) added as a Comment. I know* you don't approve but just say I'm OCD about tidiness :)
* why I did not dare ask you to include the co-ordinates in your A (IMO a better solution), hence the Comment :)

@pnuts you are the weirdest guy on here. You killed a wonderful answer and I think I know why :)
@pnuts you deleted that answer to avoid a cap out
and you will undelete it at the weekend when there's no rep to be had
Clever lad you are!
Shrewd and astute use of the cap out restriction
You stashed away 180 rep in a frozen container
Well, one reason is I don't see "identify this" as proper Travel though at least for Croatia OP had visited the place rather than "it's somewhere I'm thinking of visiting 'cos of the photo".
And avoided a cap out
I tramped through Croatia but in my current era I would prefer Trieste and its surroundings
It was not my intention. I think you are right it seems possible (and why not ! :) ) but the rep reduction is not immediate and I genuinely believed was not lost on self-deletion (so could not be put in 'cold store'). I have once deleted and undeleted a Q - it was where the rep shocked me. Since becoming used to HNQ etc I undeleted it because of your distaste for deletion. I think it is my only example however of delete/undelete.
However, a ploy for others :)
If you promise not to throw a wobbly I'll admit to how many others I have deleted recently (that are still deleted!) - and I am trying to 'hold back' a bit :)

@pnuts It breaks the Vince Lombardi rule
Winning isn't everything; it's the only thing ?
I'd need a series of lessons in American 'football' :)
Wish I could remember the brilliant (economic I think) saying of a US coach.
