sometimes hitchhikers or tourist that uses cabs etc

are sometimes robbed or kidnapped etc

so it would maybe a good idea to provide a platform where a traveler can enter before the start of a hitchhike, the license plate or the manufacturer of the car and add the destination to it

so that if he is missed it is known which car he had taken

I'm not a big fan of such questions per se. Usually, there's pretty much a Wikipedia article mentioning those extremes, and that's what gets chosen as the answer.

So I do think: well, what exactly was the point of this then.
