I have exactly two materials, and they don't seem to combine very well with other stuff. Buuut blue has Straw and Grass, so this pair will have to wait a bit.
Conductor suggests trains as one option. With Net and Hook to get the mail system used in early days of steam? Not sure how to clue it. No pairs for the musical sense of Conductor.

Referree? Conductor maaybe, Tower, maaybe from tennis?

That's the meaning of cell that comes to my mind as the first one. GSM is second, and I have to actually think to get the prison meaning :P
