Q: Orthopedic medical tourism in Cuba?

amphibientI am suffering a muscle pain and I also have a profound hatred for the U.S. healthcare, including making phone calls to see if some provider is "in network" and all that goes with it. Since I do not think getting medical treatment should be as administratively complicated as it is here in the S...

@AnkurBanerjee @mindcorrosive This user is in my opinion farming rep with some innocuous answers in order to spam either justgola or the hotels they recommend in their plans.

A: Sydney, Australia - for 5 days. With a 6-month old baby. Any tips?

JenniferMy Sister family also did a trip to Sydney last month with 8 month daughter. My niece had great time here for 4 days. Holiday Inn Darling Harbour is good commodation for family. Here was my sister's plan recommendation: http://justgola.com/plan/a-wonderful-budget-4-day-trip-to-sydney-15336

Thanks.

I have no documents of any kind but I entered the UK. And am now asking for a passport.
I think we have a winner.
@NeanDerThal I have a Finnish toilet question to ask.
Do you mind if I do? :D
@pnuts Does UK accept double citizenship?

1:19 PM
Yes (from memory).
Actually my fellow Director is dual US/UK!

Ok so this user is a dual citizen UK/X trying to renew their UK passport whilst in country X. Country which has no addresses and no postal systems. Great stuff.

@NeanDerThal real question here: are you the user User? Because if it's really you, that would suck.

5:45 PM
@CGCampbell have I ever done anything like that? I feel offended 😊
I need an admin to check that, @AnkurBanerjee @roflcoptrexception @mindcorrosive

I just approved that spammer on the Cuba flight question, wondering if it would go through if enough of us do that.

@NeanDerThal @CGCampbell The user user what?

9:16 PM
@AnkurBanerjee there is a user with the name "user", @CGCampbell for some reasons believe its my account as well. i know admins can check ip addresses and so, can you please confirm that, if i am that "user" or not.. if not then he owes me a big apology.

Nope you don't cross reference with anyone else

@CGCampbell happy?
@AnkurBanerjee thank you mate

is User that annoying user I've heard of?

i am still wondering what makes u think so @CGCampbell ?
@AnkurBanerjee i guess..

Just booked flights to Bhutan: 19-26 August, yay looking forward to this one.

9:23 PM
@AnkurBanerjee i did not explore that part of the world yet...

Usually very hard to explore anyway

the harder it is, the better..

I wonder why Indian travel sites still insist on calling "£" as "pound sterling"
I thought the pound is no longer tied to the sterling standard

i have no idea.. thats what we call it here as well..
in arabic we call it "Jenaih Esterlini"... which is "pound sterling"...

do you know why it was called the sterling?

9:30 PM
no
u know why?

I may be completely wrong, but from what I've heard it was because the value of it was pegged to the value of silver / how much silver backed up the currency

oooh
i do not think there is any currency that is bound to gold or silver currently..

yeah exactly
most currencies are unpegged from those standards these datys

yes..
which is bad in my opinion.. especially for countries with large gold reserve..
ours is bound to USD.. which is good and bad at the same time..

so basically india then
oooh which countries peg to USD
Do you live in Brunei?

9:34 PM
good because we get a fixed price when exchanging to/from dollars.. bad because if dollar is down, the currency is down everywhere else..

or wait brunei might be SGD

Saudi Arabia

wait, what
riyal is pegged to the dollar?

9:35 PM
1 USD = 3.75 Riyals since 30 years or so..

Did NOT know that!

soon if the unified GCC currency is out.. we will not be anymore..
Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE... single currency...

they want to do that even after seeing what's happening to euro?

the plan is there since 15 years maybe.. never came out...
but they say they are working on it..
at least the freedom of movement is there.. no more passports for the nationals..
also the customs is somehow unified.. police on the way, then passport.. and currency..

9:55 PM
Hmmm would be interesting to see if it happens
Middle East is the only place where I have LESS spending power coming from the UK
