and so united didn't cancel my flight down to LA as i thought they had, but they did cancel the one back instead... blah

i did actually :) they moved me to economy on the later flight, but i was #1 on the upgrade list and cleared about 30 mins before the flight

plus i went and asked at customer service, and they gave me a $20 meal voucher which I never would have got if I hadnt asked for!
