As we'll likely get an initial influx of new people now that Graduation is coming, I suggest we sort out some community guidelines in addition to the [faq] for us to be aware of before it happens.

At long last, the site will launch! All our hard work here is finally paying off. This is quite exciting. But please be aware that this is not without cost. As painful as it may be initially, users may lose some privileges for a little while.
On beta sites, some privileges require less rep than ...
@AnnaLear - just noticed you closed the Immigration proposal. This is problematic - on travel, we get a LOT of immigration questions which are off topic here. We've been sending them to the immigration proposal to commit to it. Any thoughts on what we could do with them in future, or just tell them "tough"?
@MarkMayo Unfortunately, the Immigration proposal was unlikely to be successful. It's been in Area 51 for over 2 years and we've found that proposals that old never quite recover from lost momentum.
If someone feels that it's worth proposing again, it may well be re-created and whoever believes in it will try again. If not... questions that are off-topic for you should just be closed. You shouldn't feel obligated to find another home for them.
@AnnaLear - thanks for the reply. Yeah, we were sorta hoping that when Travel gets out of beta, we could point people there. But I suppose immigration is something people usually only use once, you're not going to get a huge recurring membership, aside from people who run visa companies and the like :/
The alternatives was more just in case you knew of any other proposals that were similar. No worries, we'll send them to embassy websites or similar ;)
@MarkMayo It's possible that it could work in theory. If someone recreates the proposal and it takes off, good for it. :) Far as Travel's concerned, though, feel free to just point out that immigration is off-topic and close the questions.
Researching immigration on the internet is an exercise in frustration anyway. Embassy websites are the way to go. :)

It seems that tag excerpts are not displayed verbatim/in full on the Tags pages. That's fine but it makes it very hard to fine tune tag excerpts to display optimally, especially for editors who must go through the suggest > vote > approve process for each tweak.

We really need to work on questions per day though. It's the only metric that we're stagnant on. Which brings up the question again that travellers don't really want to exchange stacks. But oh well.

Considering that I can choose any seat on any seat row on a Boeing 777-300ER for an international flight, I have most of 400 seat places to choose from the forefront to the last row of this airplane. What are the best options if I bought an economy class ticket, traveling in a group of 4 people a...
