Q: Propagating Uncertainties for a Dilution to make a Standard Curve

Hamza QayyumSo I made a standard/calibration curve for $\ce{CuCl2}$ (Absorbance vs Concentration), and to do that I had to start off with an initial concentration of $\ce{CuCl2}$, which was $\pu{0.5 M}$, dilute that to get a lower concentration, take the absorbance reading (at $\lambda_\text{max}$), and repe...

Hey all! I want to help out in editing, at least for a while now, however I have really lost the zeal to look at chemistry ever since I left school :P

Still, perhaps, can I help out by making some tools so you all can be more productive in making the same edits? I first intend to fix the remaining issues in the previous two userscripts I made, but I am also looking for any new ideas that you would want to be seen implemented :)
Correction: "in making the same edits" not just limited to edits though, since this is web scripting, pretty much any site experience can be changed ;)

@GaurangTandon I only spent approx. 10 seconds thinking about this, but a SE chat bot that can post the pinned message with updated question counts on demand...

As in click a button to:

1. grab the pinned msg
2. run the query again to get a new count
3. edit the message with the new count

sure that's doable, but only when done by a mod. Cool I'll try that out.
Hmm...
I am thinking of something like this. It could have two commands: one to set the current query, e.g. !query [homework] is:question answers:0 closed:no score:0..
and one to post a message in chat, which you could call with e.g. !message. The code would automatically generate the contents of the pinned message you see above (maybe minus the struck-out numbers)
well, there's probably a better name for that, but that's what I had in mind.
Interesting...never made a bot before, will be interesting to see how to make one
I don't know if you'd need a server for it.
Maybe instead of a bot, a chat.SE extension?
Well, see what the others say first. :P
I was more thinking of a simple userscript, that would be way easier for me to make :) I may dig deeper later, but form the looks of it chatbots on SE are not the easiest thing to do :P How do you make a bot on Chat?
