I forgot about that book... I actually met him, he was still lurking a bit around after he officially retired. Nice guy. He sold off all his Author copies to the book for a tenner, but when I moved, I left all my textbooks for my group...

@orthocresol I'm a bit torn about this. The answer doesn't actually answer anything, It just gives you a cookbook recipe how to answer the question. It's basically a hint in oh so many words... and the question, well, there's no meat to the bone... I think I would prefer deletion. Any other opinions?

@Martin-マーチン Not sure about this one... i dislike these questions, but that is a personal response to it, I don't think it's an issue to keep it around especially if we flesh out the upvoted (hint-)answer
on the other hand, I'm not sure if it's worth the effort
HW Q&A, with accepted answer blocking roomba: (Plus I hate questions that neglect that the second protolysis step of sulfuric acid is not nearly as strong as the first...)
@A.K. @AvnishKabaj @GaurangTandon You can also decide. It doesn't have to be a mod making the decision. Simply read through the post and then say: I can salvage that, or let's delete, or I cast a reopen vote, or, or, or... When we come back here, we then do the deed.
