Turns out GnuCOBOL also supports `/` as comment indicator (so line 2 is good as is), and `|` with `-facucomment` [link](https://open-cobol.sourceforge.io/doc/gnucobol.html).
`*` on line 1 breaks Pyth after fixing Underload and Retina: `#16"( *?63...`. Both `*` and `/` break Japt while trying to fix Ropy.
I don't like to deal with golfing langs, so gonna try `|`.

/ might work for japt if there are two, as a comment indicator. Not sure if it's in a string at that point.
