Did you mean "a function named a"? Also, what do you mean by "Output goes to the variable named a"? Generally output by variables isn't allowed, and I'm pretty sure you know that, but I'm confused.
yes, thank you .
What do you mean about the output part though?
@Riker The output can be accessed through the variable a upon the functions completion.
That's not an allowed method of output.... is there any other way Silos can output?

meta.codegolf.stackexchange.com/a/4942/46918, might apply here, if not I can change it to stdout.
Although, I'm not sure if a global variable can be considered an out argument.
yeah, it probably can't

does that mean you have to assign the inputu to a and b before calling the func?
that's even more disallowed
Ok, I have a much larger submission than, altering now.

A: Default for Code Golf: Input/Output methods

Nathan MerrillPrograms may take input by assuming it is stored in predefined variables.

@Riker ok, I was under the impression that if my languages sole equivalent of arguments is predefined variables. it would be fine, but I was mistaken.
not really afair
you acn probably make a meta, it might be a dupe though

@Riker I fixed it now, it takes input through a cla (STDIN on the desktop version)
ok, my comments have been cleaned
@Riker I made a meta on this not reallly because it matters for a submission this absurdly large in this utterly noncompetitive language, but rather as a general note. meta.codegolf.stackexchange.com/q/11765/46918
Hopefully it clear other's confusion too
