Can you see any physical switch that enables/disables wifi?
@M.Becerra no physical switches on laptop for wifi
Did you check the BIOS? Or any other key or function key on your laptop related to wifi?
@M.Becerra how?
You restart your laptop, open BIOS and search for any wifi/network related settings
DONT post pictures, hard to read/format/manipulate. Post text instead

@M.Becerra I can't copy the text because I have no internet connection and typing all that onto my phone is unpractical thanks for your patience
I can edit it for you
Thanks I thought it would be cool to learn about hardware. Really regretting it now. ☹️
You shouldnt do it with your main laptop/computer
get a raspberry pi and toy with it
Did you check BIOS?
I'm in bios now
Do I want the network section?
Wake on LAN: AC Only
Ethernet LAN Option ROM: enabled
Unless you think it could create any other issue (VM, i.e.) you can simply reset setting back to default
That could work

Ok trying it
Do you have any other OS installed?
And wich laptop is it exactly
Some how changing it to default has broken further
Always boots to boot menu now and none of the options work
On t420
Thinkpad
What do you mean with none of the options work
I have
dvd, ata hdd0, pci lan
As options but picking any returns to boot menu
Maybe uefi or something I feel like I changed that setting way back
Oh damn :/
Do you think you can revert it?
