@acoder Lasagne gardens don't use wood chips because wood chips mixed in with the other materials steal nitrogen. Wood chips are best used on the surface only. Normally lasagne gardens alternate layers of straw/hay with nitrogenous materials such as coffee grounds or grass clippings and weeds.

@Shule Everything is fine, I appreciate your attention and all responses. I just recently jumped into gardening, and l am not entirely familiar with GL SE written and unwritten rules, so, inevitably, some of my posts are awkward. @Bamboo It's an April Fools Day joke. It'll disappear about 13 hours from now when it becomes April 2nd in the most westerly timezone. It doesn't do anything beyond showing that animation and making the QUACK! noise at the end.
