Progress! We went from 2.5-3.3 new questions per day! At least it's closer to 5. We also went from 1.7-1.8 answers per question. goal =2.5.
To everyone in general: We want more than one answer per question. Even if the first answer gets it right, if you see a different aspect to a question, and the existing answer(s) do not cover it, go ahead and write your own. Also, if you see a second answer like that, and it seems helpful, even a little, Vote it up! Votes aren't only for the most thorough answer, they are for any answer that helps. You can vote on more than one.
Voting keeps the site interesting and gives people a reason to do a good job answering.
Things are looking good, compared to two months ago, but everything you can put into the system helps.
@stormy how many frost free days do you generally get in a year?

It would end up being a good place for why questions.
It'd be cool if some of you folks would follow.

@NiallC. Is it possible to undelete this answer? I saw some relevance in it and edited. I think it has helpful info, but let me know what you think. gardening.stackexchange.com/questions/4737/…

@jmusser Link, please?

@NiallC Sorry.
@NiallC. I edited my first post.

@jmusser That edit tightened it up a lot. I've reinstated it.

@NiallC. Thnx

@jmusser Well...they say it can freeze any night during the summer. We had a freeze at least once per week, 30's to 40's every night and 80's during the day. Sure is a lot of work keeping cool-season plants cool during the day, warm-season stuff warm at night and guessing
@jmusser whether to turn on the heaters at night to keep the...
@jmusser I think we might get a whole month if we're lucky. Unbelievable.

@stormy Thanks! I did early training City and Guilds years ago, then eventually the RHS M. Hort course at Horticultural College. What helps is having been a secretary/PA in my youth, so language/writing skills, and working for architects who also designed planting, all many moons ago now, before taking up horticulture full time

Would a question looking for plants or gardening additives with a specific neurotoxin symptom (Descending Paralysis) be on topic here?

@JamesJenkins I think that would be on topic. Pictures, and probably history of what you've put in the garden so far would be helpful

@Bamboo I certainly hope you are making money in this field...you ARE good. Are there Landscape Architects over there? We are sorta unknown...we aren't just over-educated plant designers...so much more than that. I could'a made really good money had I moved to a city...
@Bamboo but working just for the rich and in a city was just not my cup-o-tea. Plants were 1/10th of what we are trained for otherwise one sure gets a great training in all the earth sciences. I'm a country girl. Wish we could just 'chat'...I've never been to Europe, grew up in Japan and then Hawaii. But hope I get the chance to travel, again.
@waxeagle hi there wax eagle! This would be a great topic...!!
