@Philip Klöcking -- Yes, I am a pragmatist, but also a spiritual dualist. Quine and his heirs with their "pragmatic" take off of LP are not appealing to me at all.
This has ben a good discussion here, and my questions on how to deal with abstract objects seem like they draw broader itnerest, I plan to turn them into SE questions, then open a chat for folow on discussion. Thanks for your efforts to make Symposium more lively and useful!
@Dcleve I am certainly intrigued by your views and points! You may be interested in reading this as an embellishment of what it might be that makes you not appealed by pragmatist philosophy of language. It certainly helped me as a background at some point
