Can anyone explain how STV works for 2 candidates?
as far as I understand with 1 candidate you have to get 50% of the vote at one of the rounds
so with 2 candidates you need 33.3% of the vote?

I don't think that Question 1 belongs on the moderator election questionnaire. Voting someone depending on their stance on solely one Travel.SE issue seems to be somewhat irrational.
