btw, your indicator applet thing is pretty neat, i've got it filed as something to look into next time i'm using gnome
i wonder if there's some bug preventing the display of location, since the code to figure it out is still there: git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-disk-utility/tree/src/disks/…

i wonder if it requires some sort of additional package for determining the location. At least the version i have doesn't show location.

As for indicator, let me know how you like it, once you getba chance to check it out. I've plans for refactoring the code a bit but because of my current schedule, i don't think it'll happen any time soon, but feature requests are welcome
