As per this Wikipedia article https://reden.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finings many wines apparently may have used a catalyst that is an animal byproduct. The finings settle to the bottom and are removed. So when consuming the wine there is no animal products. Would this be considered vegan?
@TheFarmer Regarding the question about wine above... I've always felt like the tag [animal-by-products] is sort of weirdly scoped. I feel a tag like [trace-ingredients] would work better for this kind of question. What do you think about creating this new tag?
