A mod can't directly add or remove something without the consensus of the community. Mod's opinions can't be community's opinions. By proper discussion and poll(upvote|downvote) by users, they may add it. This is wha I have seen in other community I am involved more. Don't know about other communities.

@zanna, that's absolutely ok, I didn't take the disagreement personally. Although I am disappointed not more people share my opinion. I encountered a lot of great big list questions in quite a few stackexchange sites and hoped that we could have a few of those as well.

I have seen a few that I like too. As I wrote at the end of my post, I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a justified big-list post appearing, but I don't think any question we have had so far should be one.

Hinduism is only site i am active other than ours. It is still in beta. We are trying hard to achieve the stats required for graduation.

I am not aware of the requirements for graduation. I do know that it's possible for sites to remain in beta indefinitely, and this doesn't make them less useful in my opinion :) How old is the Hinduism site?
