⎕fix':Namespace' '{1}⍬' ':EndNamespace'
⎕fix':Namespace' '{1' '}⍬' ':EndNamespace'

First line is fine. Second demonstrates the error.

Link handles these just fine. Any way to tap into whatever it's doing? Really trying to avoid the annoyance of Link's opinion on how my filesystem layout should be.

@B.Wilson For now, that's just how ⎕FIX is, but multi-line dfns are fine on their own. The problem is you trying to use a multi-line dfn inline in an expression. Btw, you can put multiple things in a single source file without being wrapped in :Namespace.
