⎕←,∘.∨⍨⎕A⍳'LED'

@Quintec
12 1 4 1 5 1 4 1 4

I really need to sleep, feel free to copy my work(or probably don't, since I doubt it's the most efficient way - actually, I have no idea if this is even right) codegolf.stackexchange.com/questions/172858/is-the-word-coprime

Kind of relevant to array programming (albeit not terseness): the grid in Microsoft Excel now has dynamic array formulas (arbitrary rows/columns)

@Quintec I've got an 18-byter for this one using most of your code. BTW you don't need to ravel the GCD matrix

2:15 PM
@J.Sallé Feel free to post it, my head hurts after failing to make a train
parentheses and ⊢ abound

@Quintec yeah mine has a bunch of parenthesis as well
⎕←(∧/⊢=(×/∘.∨⍨))⎕A⍳¨'MAN' 'DAY' 'LED' 'MANA' 'MOM' 'OF' 'A'

@J.Sallé
LENGTH ERROR

stupid bot
⋄ f←(∧/⊢=(×/∘.∨⍨))⎕A⍳⊢ ⋄ ⎕←f¨'MAN' 'DAY' 'LED' 'MANA' 'MOM' 'OF' 'A'

@J.Sallé
1 1 0 1 0 0 1

2:36 PM
@J.Sallé how about (⊂≡⊢×.∨⊂)⎕A⍳⊢ for 13
⋄ f←(⊂≡⊢×.∨⊂)⎕A⍳⊢ ⋄ ⎕←f¨'MAN' 'DAY' 'LED' 'MANA' 'MOM' 'OF' 'A'

@jslip
1 1 0 1 0 0 1

@jslip nice. the s always get me in the end. Also ×/∘.∨ ←→ ×.∨ duh

3:02 PM
Yeah, the top things I fail at in APL. ⊢, ∘., and many more i'm forgetting

@Quintec The thing that made me able to understand trains (the part) was this lesson

@dzaima he meant ∘. constructs

I understand the outer product thing, but I'm just kinda blindly using it and not really understanding the actual syntax, and I get frequent errors of "requires left argument" and such

@Quintec syntax = vertical (∘.function) horizontal. It being ∘. instead of one character (something like v (fn⌾) h) is an artifact from history
