Q: Extract Particular Word and Geo-code it

Adarsha MurthyFriends, I have two dataframes with two columns each event: column names --> "District" City" villages: column names --> "District" "Village" "event" dataframe has district names and events happening in its district villages. The "City" column is a sentance data which has village names of c...

@Adám Maybe not popular, but certainly valuable.
This is the kind of stuff that people will be looking through 10 years after APL development stops.

@Hosch250 Thanks.

It's time to reveal my "Ant on a Cube" solution. Preparing explanation...
My original solution was `(∨/∪≠.=¨⊂)3|-\` with sha1=96e876b4... It swaps 0 and 1 for the result. After realising that that's not acceptable, I golfed it further to make room for the `~` at the cost of making the expression uglier and harder to explain: `(~1∊≠.≤⌸)¯3|-\` with sha1=a6c48f49...

Both solutions share the same general idea and use `¯1`/`1` for left/right turns. The problem can be split into two independent ones: how does the current axis (x, y, or z) change with each turn? and, knowing the axes visited at each step, will the be ant back at the original edge?
@Adám could you unpin my announcement, please?

@ngn I had {~∨/2|⊢∘≢⌸3|-\⍵} as my 18 byte solution. Although it failed on cases where 0≠3|-/⍵

@H.PWiz wow, that looks very very close to mine! :)

@ngn Yes I thought I was on the same lines. Previously I was thinking about faces, and came to the conclusion that 0=3|2⊥⍵ and 0=3|2⊥~⍵ (with L/R as 0/1) was nearly sufficient. Of course the similarities are clear as 2≡¯1 (mod 3), and that -/ is nearly ¯1⊥. I had a full solution with 6|(stuff), but I couldn't golf it.
@ngn Actually, I think you may have the same problem I had. Yours returns 1 for ¯1 1 ¯1 ¯1 ¯1 1. I think it should return 0

@H.PWiz so, we also need to test that the ant is on the same axis it started from?

@ngn Yes

ngn
@H.PWiz hm, it looks like I should award you the 500 reputation then (as long as your best working solution is shorter than Erik's)

@ngn I don't think you should do anything. I do not especially care for the rep. The challenge was interesting in itself, and it's the most thinking iv'e done in codegolf for a while. Do whatever you wish with your internet points

ngn
@H.PWiz I don't care much either, it's a matter of principle to keep promises
@H.PWiz so how long is your best working solution?

@ngn 21 bytes
There is probably a shorter solution just by modifying you train with a ⊢/ or a 0⊥

@H.PWiz well, the deadline is over anyway
@H.PWiz huh, I have to wait for a week before I can award an existing answer!?

@ngn Right. Also, don't me get me wrong, I do appreciate the rep :)
@ngn Yes, the bountying system is designed to bring attention to posts
It does not always fit this site particularly well
