@betseg maybe make libncurses.so.5 a hard link to libncurses.so.6 and see if it helps?

and it acts like the file doesn't exist at all? maybe open a terminal and type locate to see where libncurses.so.6 resides

oh, i meant i did it already and it works, but i just wanted to complain about RIDE's lack of helpful error messages (this is the second time)

@betseg yeah, RIDE should display all of STDERR whenever asked to, or if the interpreter crashes

Hey @Adám, can I use the return variable for a tradfn as an ordinary variable to store values? What I mean is, in ∇r←foo bar⋄r←⍬⋄r←bar∇, would that first assignment r←⍬ immediately return ⍬ or would it store that until the program finishes?
