git question: you comit something, push it to remote, then amend the commit locally. If you now push this too you'll get a conflict, how would you resolve that?
(my pragmatic solution was deleting and recreating the remote repo, then pushing:)
 
1) Avoid amending commits after pushing to remote. 2) A force-push should still work?

Is there such a thing as test or unit tests for GUIs?
 
Yes. Sorta. Understandably though, they're quite a bit harder to make and more limited.

Have you ever had to work with such a thing?
 
Not myself, no. I know the Django framework had some docs for that and I know that my company's site code has a few tests, but they're pretty much entirely static and we do all testing of our site's GUI manually. By looking at it and using it.
