I too thought that was a great physical demonstration of binary numbers.
 
It's really disappointing that it doesn't loop back to 000000 though

So, linguistics question
I was going through my code review process
one of the pieces of feedback was to add a period to my sentences. The reasoning is that you don't know what text will be printed after the error message. I've done this several times, so I made a comment "I really need to get in the habit of doing this."
He replied and said "I am fine with European style grammar"
...I've never heard of this: Is dropping the period European?
 
I've never heard that either.
