When you state that $1_A=1$, for example. Say, where are you leading this? — Did Jun 23 '17 at 15:52

Oh, it is this time of year again:

@XanderHenderson Sounds really familiar. Where have I seen such behaviour before?...
@XanderHenderson I don't understand. Why did the teacher not have to go to the toilet after just 1 minute?
Because of a willing suspension of disbelief?
Honestly, I wasn't paying that much attention.
@XanderHenderson He's fidgeting, as if he really needs to go.
=P
Okay the ending really takes the cake.
> Actual conversation I had with a student: Student - "What can I do to pass your class?" Me - "That's easy. Make sure you do your homework, come to class on time, ask questions in class if you are confused, and if you're still confused after class come see me during my office hours." Student - "But the semester is over and it's to late to do that." Me - "Exactly."
And what in the dumpyard is the comment by someone claiming to have gotten a hacker to help change failing grades to A?!

Never change an F to an A. Change an F to a C. It is less noticeable that way.

Still not as bad as the American university student who tried to sue his university because he was too timid to be in a classroom that was predominately women, and therefore failed the class because he never went to lecture. And in his mind, this was somehow the uni's fault.

@XanderHenderson OMG!! How familiar!!!
Somewhat reminiscent of what we here on this site, though not about grades; rather about closure of a question, and usually at least days later, or longer, its deletion due to failure to improve it. Upon deletion, though, they come to meta to complain!
