@amWhy: Just thought I'd tell you what I currently think; the mods have to act impartially, and now and then their notion of fairness may differ slightly from ours, but I doubt they ever intend to slight or ignore the good users. For instance just a while back I asked one of them about something and didn't get a response, and it turned out that he simply missed it. Similarly I'm half uncertain whether to contribute my votes in this issue because anything I do could be perceived as bias. =)

@Mithrandir It kind of looks like they're listed alphabetically, not necessarily in terms of frequent posts (although the all-purpose Mathematics chat tends to appear first. I've wondered about that too. Now I tend to look at my chat profile, to see rooms I'm in, and rooms I'm frequently am in (in those cases where my tabs get deleted.)
