The first was gay, so was the second. The third was asexual, and not really into relationships. The fourth said "no, college comes first", and now... well, I'll find out
:-( I wish I wasn't the type to have such nerdy non-straight friends
:'-(
I mean, maybe I'll come back to the fourth
:-) she drew a flower on my arm today. Having people draw on me is kinda fun
@amWhy how does one lose two rep from user removed? How did they up vote me like 0.5 times?
@SimplyBeautifulArt If you earned 2 points early on for editing a question, and that question is subsequently removed, those two points you earned are gone too. Crazy, I know, but upon removal, it's like the question never existed, so upvotes for the question go away, rep from answering the question go away, rep from editing the question goes away. Some times you may gain 2 rep points, when someone who may have downvoted one of your questions leaves the site.
I can explain the gain of one rep point (an answer you downvoted was removed, so you get you point rep back. The only way I know to lose exactly 1 rep is by downvoting an answer.
@SimplyBeautifulArt Do you have a delete vote to spare on meta?. There are currently 2 delete votes on it, and eight downvotes earned, and I've flagged a mod... But the sooner its deleted, the better.
@SimplyBeautifulArt Where did you find a Chinese keyboard? I know I've long wished I had a keyboard for many of the Romance languages, but it'd be assume to have access to chinese characters, too, not just "get arounds".
@SimplyBeautifulArt Okay, then...I'll wait...but I agree with shredalert: "It'll happen when you least expect it"! (exclamation point mine).
Sorry, my second to last comment suffers from some sort of grammatical error!
(errrr...the comment at the top of this commenting block)
@shredalert Remind me which text you've used for a first course in logic? Author? You've gotten through the first? Awesome. Have you been working out exercises too?
Let me think on it... as far as a text to align with your interests. (I've always loved logic, and I'm more of an algebra person than an analysis person, so I can relate.) I'm also looking over your current text, to see what you will have covered when you are close to finishing.
@amWhy I should also probably say that I am interested in the relationship between natural language and logic, and trying to capture the "meaning" of natural language in logic.
I got a B in one of my A-level modules for maths and was off an A by 2 or 3 marks. My teacher told me to resit it. No way in hell was I going to spend all that time over again for a few silly marks. lol
Anyway, when "he" comes back, he can tell us what happened, if he wants to. But it still leaves me wondering, until then!
Why do these horizontal lines (made of ..........................................) separating some comments from others, occur on chats. Is it to show comments grouped according to the time they're posted? Hmmmm....
Fantansy, mainly, and she's a she. I was drawn to her work after reading a story she wrote "The One's who walk away from Omelas". But at this point in time she's not at all young. But since you like J.R. Tolkien, I though you might prehaps, have run into one or another of her works.
@shredalert Ohhhh? Then I'll need to introduce you to Mr Ray Bradbury...who some consider the Father of science fiction/fantasy.... Whatever one's genre of preference, many of his writings are classic.
