@IgorSkochinsky Yeah I am aware of that. Speaking of female 神様, my most recent Anime vice is 『神様になった日』. Every time the little girl goes "わし、神様じゃ！" it cracks me up
What I was saying is there seems/seemed to be a male bias in the anthropomorphization of 神様. It may have shifted in pop cul. I don't know. But pop cul has always been kept a distance away from more serious things/traditions
Also if we want to be precise, female-inclusive is not really gender-neutral yet. For one thing, it is binary. Also one of the things key to the imbalance in gender even in pop cul is how the female 神様 characters are almost always, if not all, young girls.
