that is very interesting a such good point. I myself and the people around me will make mistakes in our native language and at times I cant help but google stuff up. When it comes to pronunciation I'd say natives are 98% of the time or so, spot on, but still mistakes can and do happen

There's a somewhat more subtle issue here with the types of mistakes that natives and non-natives tend to make. Non-native language mistakes tend to be mapping to models in their own language, native language mistakes (which non-natives make too) tend to be misapplying models from the language itself.
Then there's just baffling ones like "I borrowed the pen to him"... that seem to have taken root in English.
I vaguely recall questions where people were literally translating English idioms and expecting them to work in Japanese.
