Does 番組をやる mean 'to perform in a TV program' or 'to broadcast a program'

@Jon It can be both, so I think it's up to the context

例えば。。。役者・タレント・コメディアンの人とかが「ＸＸっていう番組をやった時に。。」って言ったら、「出演した」とか、「司会をした」みたいな感じかな

テレビを見る側の人が（またはテレビに出てる人でも）、「ＮＨＫでＸＸっていう番組をやってた」とか言うと、「放送してた」って意味になりますね

@JACK 便利屋 should be put in a service industry. コンビニ should be put in a retailer. According to this pdf. So long as I know 便利屋 does not sell goods, but does service like plumbering, walking dogs, pruning Ume trees in your house, etc. Whereas コンビニ like Seven Eleven does not do laundry service.

@JACK When I said 屋 doesn't necessarily mean room, I meant 屋 also has the usage of marking occupation like 殺し屋 for assassin. 八百屋 for produce store, etc. That's the usage seen in 便利屋 too

I have several foreign exchange korean friends, and they struggled a lot.

when I met some koreans and they tried to teach me basic stuff, the pronunciation felt very distant from both english and portuguese

Nowadays I think they have mostly forgotten their English skills, which is sad.

My Japanese is ok. It has definitely been better, but I keep it fresh with family that speaks it (on occasion), and phone calls with friends when we both have the time.

Personally, I had the opportunity to go there, and I passed it up because the cost of living was way too high.

Plenty of great resorts in Canada for skiing. Japan too, if you can get into the mountains on the weekend.

this will be fun already, but skiying is another thing I wanna do too

skiing is pretty great, but it can be hard to pick up at first. So if it's difficult at first, it does get better.

From my perspective, I don't know enough about the two words to say whether or not it is deserving of up-votes.

Then there are statements I don't quite understand like "面目 is feeling yourself a human, not an animal."
