@Willeke In the song "Six (My Favorite Number Is)" Bert says he spends "all afternoon" thinking about six. Given that, I think we might postulate hat 6 earned by "collecting or doing 6 things over the space of an afternoon".

I have done many things 6 times in a given day (part of the day) that did not trigger that hat, but this one deleted comment did seem to.

I vote up to 40 times each day, so many times I must have cast more than 6 votes in an 'afternoon'.

I hear you. But to clarify: I'm not saying cast six votes, but receiving 6 votes on a question in an afternoon (that fits my data point).

Must be more to it, maybe they need to be a certain age, I did edit a lot of old Q and A, did not get it.

Travel suffered under someone who did/does edit a lot of old content, not the best time to experiment with editing old content.

Once neutral or + people will go by its merits, not by its votes.

OP has just edited the Q, he has put out the bounty. Both my answers are -1 now. May not work.

But it is an impossible Q and he is not happy with the answer already given, has changed the Q after the answer which made that answer not fit well.
