@Stewartside your comment in the google docs has made me think, and I have an alternate theory, which would also be possible. Basically it would be, you comment -> OP edits question to clarify -> question gets answered (by sbd else?). The connection to the mild-mannered reporter would be, that you help somebody tell their story to the public.
