I just mean that if you counted every single user, you wouldn't get to 3,000, because there aren't 3,000.
Some accounts may have been deleted, or the database may have just skipped a few IDs

The IDs are usually sequential (more or less)
But, if they're just SQL primary keys, that's not guaranteed
