Problem with the highest voted answer is, it's really not that good, not as off-topic as it originally was, but still. Cookies are virtually non-existant in IoT devices.

It's just reasonable general IT security tips that totally shoot past the question

But lists and first impression reason will always beat a fitting answer with paragraphs like Gilles'
