@Daniel, do you need to update your vote athttp://meta.judaism.stackexchange.com/questions/1635/where-do-you-live, too?

Q: Where do you live?

Isaac MosesWith an eye toward designing in-person community events (e.g. this), it would be useful to have some idea of how many Yodeyans live where. So, let's try to collect some basic data about this while preserving the privacy of people who want it preserved. If you see the metropolitan area you live...

@IsaacMoses I did add my new vote, although I'm not aloud to remove my old vote
I just edited the answer to add a space

@MonicaCellio Thanks! Settling in nicely here. The hustle and bustle of NYC is a bit of a culture shock.

@HodofHod I would imagine it's quite different. I don't know where you were coming from but I think it was somewhere in the US, and I'm having trouble identifying another city that has hustle and bustle at NYC's scale. I think I would be quite overwhelmed, never having lived in a big city.
@MonicaCellio I'll give you a hint: if I removed my vote from my old city, it'd be at 0. :) And yeah, I don't think anywhere has quite the same.... speed as NYC.
@HodofHod there's a whole page of 0-vote cities on that meta post now. I haven't been paying attention to which one changed recently, if any. (I'm also not prying.)
I guess if you had been in Chicago you could have removed your vote from there after the recent edit enabled it. Otherwise, if you removed a vote it was two years ago, it would seem.

if I had
Right. I am positing that you did not remove a vote. There is a small possibility that you were in Chicago and removed a vote, but that doesn't match with my vague impressions about your prior environs.

Ah. :D

@HodofHod In my "city", we call it "traffic" when there are three cars driving on the same street at the same time. It's also neatly divided into "neighborhoods", each one two blocks wide. #smalltownlife

@Scimonster I've been to such places. Usually hashgacha work.
That's where they stick all the NIMBY stuff

@HodofHod Don't have that here. ;)

Q: What is a friendly alternative to the word "brother" that can be used by a Muslim to address a devoted Jewish man

TerveMy boss and I are Muslims, one day some brave Jewish man walked into our shop and asked if we can do business together. I say brave as he is a conservative religion-wise you can tell from the way he dresses and his hair ie rabbi-like in spite of the fact that our area is strictly Arabs Muslims po...

I wonder if this is the same business that is proving this guy with a gold bar to take to Russia (while wearing a bulletproof vest), and worries about people cutting off his fingers to get past their biometric security system.
