Q: Can aircrew order me not to stand in the aisle?

UserIt's Ramadan and I am planning to travel on British Airways, I will have to stand in the aisle for praying, is it the aircrews' right to ask/order me to go back to my seat?

Not sure whether you knew, but there is a Stack Exchange about the Islam as well, and it has this related question which talks about bowing and prostrating during prayer - if one is able. — Jan Fabry yesterday

Q: Davening on an airplane

Gershon GoldOften times on flights to/from Eretz Yisroel there are people who put together a Minyan at the back of the plane. I for one always Daven at my seat as I feel it can easily come to a Chillul Hashem. Is that correct?

?
...is the above Travel question of general interest, as it asks not about the religious point of view, but rather that of what aircrew is allowed to demand of a passenger in a situation like this?
interesting:
(-1) You might be interested to know that El Al makes arrangements for (Jewish) passengers to have space to pray. Islamic prayer ritual is a little more difficult to accommodate (Jews generally haven't prostrated themselves since the destruction of the Second Temple), but it's not an unprecedented question. I also can't imagine where you get the idea that there will be few Muslims on a British Airways flight. To Pakistan? to Cairo? The OP didn't say he was going London to Glasgow, although even if he were, about 5% of the UK are Muslims. — Andrew Lazarus 8 hours ago
@Scimonster I hadn't noticed that you were on that question already ;-)
@Scimonster thanks for pointing this out, but it doesn't change much. — Lohoris 5 hours ago

@Shokhet Not sure what you're asking. Do you want to know whether people in this chat room are interested in reading that question on that site? I don't think that's necessarily dependent on whether it asks about a religious point of view.

@msh210 I apologize for the lack of clarity. I meant to ask if it belonged on our list of interesting questions.

Q: Anonymity: required, preferred, or unnecessary?

Noach mi FrankfurtInspired by a comment thread on this answer. Typically, we are advised to keep a degree of anonymity in SE sites. However, I have gleaned from posts the identities, or presumed identities, of certain users (and I know at least one personally). In other words, is anonymity really important on M...

@DoubleAA thats not very nice of you to point that out. i was just trying to make a request for him to clarify, i didn't claim i was an expert on grammar.

@cham Im sorry you feel that way, but you have been breaking site rules and guidlines, you have been combative, putting people down, praising yourself and your answers above everyone else, you have disparaged me, falsely accused me of plagiarism. I am far from jealous.
i feel bad for you, for if you stop using this site as a soap box for your opinions and engaged like everyone else you would be very succesful here. this question you asked gained views, answers and upvotes. why cant all your questiong be liek this (before you blew up in anger)

@yEz I'm actually davening for him. i feel bad. i made a mistake of bringing up the banning issue here in the chat. now i feel culpable for his feeling that he is begin rejected, despite the fact that his actions have been disruptive and agasint site rules

yEz
@Mefaresh I guess you're a better person than I. I am davening that his internet service provider cancels his service.

@yEz how does one make private chats?
@yEz im assuming this was a reference

yEz
@Mefaresh well us little people can only make chats private in terms of who can talk. Mods can use there super power to make private access rooms.
@Mefaresh correct.

@yEz i am just not interested in getting into feuds with people online. but the complete delusion is difficult to deal with. everyone is after me, and i am better than everyone else. I'm glad i don't know these types of people in person.

yEz
@Mefaresh I had one actual "debate" with him. It was incredible to see how entirely a person can ignore every proof you bring and insist you are the fool. After that my only responses have been for the sake of my own entertainment. An actual conversation would be too frustrating.

@yEz in a chat room? or comments, did they get deleted?

yEz
@Mefaresh the entertaining ones or the actual one?

@yEz both
@yEz so why didn't he come after you?

yEz
@Mefaresh most of my entertainment got deleted but the actual conversation is at judaism.stackexchange.com/questions/57944/… comments on the q moved to chat and my answer
@Mefaresh I don't know what you mean by "come after me" but he has directed outbursts at me and accusations of stealing his answer (!) when I posted this and he had posted a sourceless rant about how rabbis know nothing and make stuff up.
(I only pointed out in response that my answer was a re-post of another one of my answers which preceded his post by several weeks, although I'm sure in his mind my original answer was actually stolen from him by spying on him and reading his thoughts)

@yEz ok, i feel better, he has shown a patter of breaking the rules of this site. like i told him, if he only stuck to the rules he would be successful. what a shame.

yEz
@Mefaresh depends which rules you mean.

@Mefaresh I think there is more to it than that ואכמ"ל
