Since this instance is running on a very slow Google cloud node (I bought it for just doing personal cloud reverse proxy purpose, nothing else), and it uses non-SSD disk. I have to adjust some search parameters in approach0 source code to make it return results in reasonable time (otherwise it takes minutes! Now it may be still longer than you expect compared to the official one because that one uses SSD and faster VPS node).
As a result, you would more likely get only a few search results shown, because the search space is limited to a very small number (controlled by that parameter), so you are not getting an expression by searching its "deep" subexpression simply because the search space is very small now.
I find it interesting that many times I tried to search on this instance it gets back almost none in aops domain (e.g. 104.198.193.4/search/index.php?q=hard%2C%20problem&p=1). However, I have no way to precisely tell how many have been indexed for each source domain, but since AoPS crawler runs slower from my experience, it maybe just because I invoked both crawler for the same amount of time and the MSE domain has more document get indexed. But I have not investigated yet.

Hey, wow nice, I have tried for example 104.198.193.4/search/index.php?q=%24F_n%2B1%24&p=1 that I searched before and found on AoPS, but yea in other queries it is usually just MSE.

Seems there is actually quite a few results, especially when seraching for functional equations, inequalities, and stuff like that.
Found for example this 104.198.193.4/search/… , which is unsoveld problem on MSE, although it seems to be unsovled on MSE as well :)

@Sil Good to hear that, thanks for trying it out. Maybe the queries I tried are not the topics that are actually crawled. I definitely will use AoPS as secondary source, but before using it, I hope some technical issues are fixed. For example, I recently find a model to achieve very permissive and effective results, already submitted a paper on CIKM. Now I want to rewrite it to make it more efficient.
