I am wondering, is there a question (on meta probably, and probably not even on Math SE) where someone would suggest making the 5 minutes post update limit longer? (the time before the next question/update is considered as a different one). I've just realized this is something I've been struggling for years, no matter how hard I try to read my posts before editing, I always find some improvement very shortly but usually close to that 5 minutes (15 minutes might be little more practical...)
Or even better, having the possibility to intentionally amend one's own consecutive updates to avoid it looking like an update spam

I have looked a bit through the posts tagged grace-period+feature-request, but I did not find anything. (I did not spend too much time with that, perhaps you might have better luck.)

Thanks for the tip, will look that way
Another alternative that comes in mind would be to reset the 5 minute timer on any update within that grace period

Just mentioning that the grace period ends immediately if someone comments on the question, or posts an answer: meta.stackexchange.com/a/251876/196432

@Pole_Star Small hint, what is 3rd letter of english alphabet? And 1st? ...
Plus this is probably off-topic for this chat room ;)

I have posted your question about grace period also in Math Meta Chat = in case somebody who visits that room might know: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/64952/2021/4/21
