If I take a Linux Distro for example Ubuntu and a configure it to look,act and feel like another Linux distro for example Linux Mint is it still Ubuntu?

@HenryWHHackv2.1 There was a Lindows, Linux configured to look like Windows, but it doesn't make it Windows.
@HenryWHHackv2.1 Linux-Linux is a better transition, because they share the same kernel. You've Debian-based distros, Red Hat distros, etc. so if you remove all other extras which were added on top of it, you can convert it into different distributions. You can modify what's returned in /etc/*-release, etc., so you can call it different distro.
@HenryWHHackv2.1 Mint is based on Debian, practically it's still Debian. So you can make it looks like Debian, because it's actually a Debian with extra scripts and specific configurations in place.
