This is a question open to anyone who knows the answer: when a language is pulled/updated, does the entire repo of the language simply get redownloaded? Or are there some other processes involved?

@Lyxal the repo/whatever is downloaded as told in languages.json, and the corresponding script in this is run
actually, ignore the first part, the script includes the downloading, languages.json just mentions the method for some reason
@Pavel (assuming your OSes horrible system is the same as mine, ) my solution was to bind these two somewhere, though ymmv
