Saying of ghci, I often fiddle with
TIO Bash + ghci
Just that I can't silence the first and last line of output
and we can't separate expressions/statements from plain stdin...

Experiment: give the source file as
ghci-script
and let it consume the rest of stdin

I wish bash let you put a heredoc and output redirect one one line like this:
tio.run/##qyrO@P/fxkbd1d9NXcGuOLkos6CEy6o4tUShoCg/…
Bubbler
That's neat
Pavel
tio.run/##qyrO@P/frji5KLOgRMHGRt3V302dy6o4tUShoCg/…
works too but I think it's not as nice

And
it does run in "non-interactive mode", I guess?
and
prompt setting isn't really needed in this mode
Pavel
@Bubbler Annoyingly, however, trimming the extra noise with head and tail produces broken pipe noise to stderr:
tio.run/##qyrO@P8/…
(This is what peak command substitution looks like /s)
@Pavel Only sometimes though. It's not deterministic.
You have to run it a bunch of times and eventually the error just doesn't
Bubbler
Using
interact
or
getContents
gives "closed handle error" too
9 hours later…

Dennis
