@ngn Done.
@Pavel How can I tell if that worked? I think it just downloaded them to the /root directory, which isn't helpful.

2:44 AM
It should have installed them to $PSHome, which on my system is /opt/microsoft/powershell/6.1.0~preview.2
...on Windows. It should install to $PSHome on Windows, when run as admin.
Hmmmm
@Dennis If it installed into /root, you can try mv /root/.local/share/powershell/Help/* $PSHome or mv /root/.local/share/powershell/Help /usr/local/share/powershell and see which one make the link work
Determening to install globally or locally based on if the user has elevated permissions is an interesting idea.
This fails on Linux, since rather than elevating your own permissions, admin action is done by assuming the role of another user (root).
It's still pretty dumb
I think I'll open an issue

3:28 AM
Speaking of which, you should open an issue about the getsession thing or the netcore github

3:48 AM
@Pavel Neither of those works.

@Dennis How'd you do that?

HOME=/opt/microsoft/home pwsh -Command Update-Help and a symlink in the wrapper.

@Dennis Well, I opened an issue, so hopefully it gets resolved at some point.

@ngn Changed the links.

4:57 AM
@Pavel An even better idea would be to put the docs in the rpm, where they belong. >_>

@cairdcoinheringaahing Done.

@Dennis Thanks!

@Dennis The compatibility mode isn't very compatible, at least not with QB64.
