@Adám How's that? dev.tio.run Should I add any copyright notice to the logo's source code? If so, what should it say?

Why does the GH organization for TIO suddenly have a jelly-docker repo

1:34 AM
Andrew was testing something. Docker might be a way to get languages on TIO that don't play nice with the current sandbox.

Interesting

@Dennis Looks very nice. I'd make just the logo and the word Dyalog a link and underscore the word to Dyalog match the clickable-indication of the rest of that page. No copyright notice necessary. Compare to Functional Conf.

5:50 AM
@Adám Good idea. Done.
It's live on tio.run now.

@Adám Out of curiosity, does Dyalog's site link to TIO anywhere?

@Dennis Cool. Looks great. I'll drop my CEO an email to show if off.
@Pavel I don't think we have any direct links on the main site, only on dyalog.tv (dyalog.tv/Dyalog17/?v=ddBjIkyebuY — 12m00s). Any ideas where on our main site it would be appropriate to link? TryAPL is listed under Learning, but TIO doesn't really teach APL…

@Adám Chapel puts it next to the social media buttons.

ngn
6:57 AM
@Adám I do that - I'm too lazy to insert a link to SBCS every time :)
@Dennis could you update ngn/k, please?

@ngn Done.

2:16 PM
@Pavel Social media buttons: GitHub, Stack Overflow, Gitter, TIO, Rails Girls Summer of Code
For some reason, it took me several hours (until I wanted to close the tab) to realize that the social media buttons didn't include social media buttons. :P
It's nice to see TIO on the same line as those services. :)

2:34 PM
Oh yeah, didn't notice Facebook/Twitter/Youtube were on a seperate line

There are Facebook/Twitter/Youtube buttons?

Yeah, right underneath

Right, AdBlocker.

what a buggy ad blocker...

A lot of adblockers block social media buttons as an optional feature

2:36 PM
> ✓ Antisocial filter list (removes social media buttons)

I'm not so sure if that's how the filter should work...

It is.
I've had ad blockers for so long, I started to forget what websites look without them. Just yesterday, I briefly used my new (then un-rooted) phone and was reminded how ugly the web is without them.

those "social media buttons" are really hyperlinks that contain images of the logos of their destinations, why should they be hidden? I thought that option is for e.g. FB "Like"/"Share" buttons (the real deal) that supposedly track user activity

Chrome on Android doesn't support extensions and I don't want to use a different browser because all my bookmarks and stuff are synced by chrome
@EriktheOutgolfer Because some people don't like to see them, not everything is a privacy concern.

2:53 PM
@EriktheOutgolfer Right, those images are self-hosted. It might be the Annoyances filter then.

yes, just tested
actually, it's both of them
for example, it looks like the Antisocial filter list contains the rule /facebook-2.
